USD / EUR deposits in Ukraine
Foreign-currency deposits are a hedge against hryvnia devaluation. USD rates: 1.2–2.5% annually; EUR: 0.5–1.5%. These are below USD and EUR inflation, so foreign-currency deposits are about preserving value, not earning. The DGF covers foreign-currency deposits in equivalent of up to UAH 600,000.
